Legends Of The OAC!

Here we have another loaded weight class that we have picked as being one of the toughest weight classes we have ever seen at Junior High State in the OAC. This weight being 96 pounds. A lot of future high-caliber wrestlers came from this weight to make big names for themselves around the country.Starting from 8th on up.
8th: David Carpenter (Cincinnati Madeira), David would go on to become a 2-time state placer in OHSAA finishing 3rd once and then 2nd place.
7th: Dustin Frayley (Washington Courthouse), Dustin would go on to become a 3-time high school state placer, finishing 3rd twice and 2nd once (losing to Ben Jordan).
6th: Kyle Lang (Brecksville), Kyle would go on to become a 4-time high school state placer for the Bee’s. Finishing 4th,3rd,2nd and winning a state championship his senior year. He also was an Ironman Finalist 2nd place and Beast of the East finalist 2nd place. Attended Ohio University and wrestled a short time for the Bobcats.
5th: Zac Thomusseit (St.Paris Graham) , Zac would later become a 3-time high school state placer finishing 4th two times and 5th once. Attended the University of Pittsburgh where he became an NCAA All-American and was a 3 time NCAA qualifier for the Panthers.
4th: Aaron Sulzer (Holy Name Cleveland), Aaron would become a 3-time high school state placer finishing 7th 2nd and State Champion once. Attended Eastern Michigan University where he became a 3 time NCAA qualifier for the Eagles @ 157
3rd: Stephen Mitcheff (Elyria High School), Steve would go on to become a 4-time high school state placer with a career record of (159-24) and winning one State title over those 4 years. Later attended Kent State University where he wrestled for the Golden Flashes at the NCAA level within the MAC.
2nd: Tony Jameson (Austintown Fitch High School), Tony would go on to become a member only a few have been able to accomplish in high school, winning 4 consecutive high school state titles. Later attended Ohio State University where he would have a short career with the Buckeyes. Tony is one of the most exciting wrestlers to ever wrestle in the “Schott”.
1st: Daniel Kolodzik (Miami Valley High School), Daniel would go on to become a 2-time OHSAA state champion in high school. (Brother of Matthew). Attended Ivy League Princeton University where he competed at 157 and had a successful college career.
