The Erie County Community Foundation in conjunction with the Ohio Athletic Committee is pleased to announce the 2018 OAC Scholarship winners.
1) Lucas Critelli of Huron, Ohio is a senior at Huron High School where he has a GPA of 3.63 and is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. Lucas is captain of Huron’s football team and a returning letterman of their baseball team. He is undecided on a college but is planning to major in Construction Management.
2) Abigail Neisel of Dover, Ohio is a senior at Dover High School where she has a GPA of 3.98 and is a member of the National Honor Society. Abigail is a four year member of Dover’s cheerleading squad and was a delegate to Buckeye Girls State. She is undecided on a college but is planning to major in Pre Med.
3) Zachary Kreft of Sunbury, Ohio is a senior at Buckeye Valley High School where he has a GPA of 3.94 and is a member of both the National Honor Society and Student Council. Zachary is a four year member Buckeye Valley’s cross country team and a two time Ohio state champion. He is planning to attend Notre Dame University with a major in Engineering.
4) Mason Cox of Crown City, Ohio is a senior at Fairfield High School where he has a GPA of 3.44 and was named a “Scholar All American”. Mason is a four year member and captain of Fairfield High School’s wrestling and football teams. He is undecided on a college but is planning to major in Exercise Science.
5) Lane Fry of Ashland, Ohio is a senior at Crestview High School where he has a GPA of 4.03 and is a member of the National Honor Society. Lane is a four year member and captain of Crestview’s wrestling, football, and track teams. He is undecided on a college but is planning to major in Mechanical Engineering.
6) Gavin Grime of Archbold, Ohio is a senior at Archbold High School where he has a GPA of 3.60 and is a member of Student Council. Gavin is a four year member and captain of Archbold’s wrestling and football teams. He is undecided on a college but is planning to major in Political Science.
7) Samuel Hunter of Sandusky, Ohio. Michael is a senior at Sandusky High School where he has a GPA 3.75 and is a member of the National Honor Society. Samuel is a four year member of Sandusky’s wrestling and football teams. He is undecided on a college but is planning to major in Dietetics.
8) Trevor Schaller of Swanton, Ohio. John is a senior at Swanton High School where he has a GPA of 4.23 and is a member of the National Honor Society. Trevor is a four year member and captain of Swanton’s wrestling and cross country teams. He is undecided on a college but is planning to major in Accounting.
