JUNIOR HIGH STATE UPDATE 2/22/2021

• Junior High wrestlers that applied with seed criteria (criteria here) are being contacted today to register. They will have until Thursday Feb. 25th  12pm-Noon to register. If you have a wrestler that applied with criteria that has not received an email please email [email protected]

• Updates for Grade School and Girls will be posted next week on their respective website on ohioathletics.com. All Junior High State info and updates will be on ohioathletics.com/juniorhigh

• Wrestlers without criteria will be contacted next week as spots become available.  If you have a wrestler that has not applied and would like to compete at the Junior High State Tournament, have them apply HERE.

• The invitation to register for Junior High State will come via email. (Please check spam folder) Registration is $55. The wrestler may only register for the weight that they applied for. No weight changes.  Anyone registering for the tournament without being invited may be subject to no refund and not eligible to enter the tournament.

• Spectators and Coach Bands will be presale online only. Four spectator tickets per wrestler will be available for purchase. The 4 spectator tickets are sold in pods and are assigned seats in the arena. The seats cannot be moved but we will assign your pod base on your wrestler’s Saturday mat assignment. All spectators regardless of age need a ticket.
  
  Spectator Tickets are $15 per person per session. Coach Bands are $20 per weekend-DOES NOT include admission.
  
• Saturday Tickets and Coach Bands will go on sale on March 1st Input wrestlers name and weight class when purchasing. The wrestler’s ticket, spectator tickets and coach bands, attached to that wrestler, will be given to the wrestler at the Weigh-In Check-in Table. There will not be a will-call set up. You must purchase HERE by March 16th
  
  If more than 4 tickets are purchased for one wrestler, in single or multiple transactions, they will not be refunded.
  
• 2 coaches per wrestler/match.

• Sunday tickets will go on sale on, Saturday at the Tournament once the wrestler qualifies to Sunday. Again, each wrestle can purchase 4 tickets. $15 per spectator per session- per wrestler.

• Purchased tickets and coach bands (and wrestler ticket) will be picked up at Weigh In/Check-in on Friday, March 19th. Weigh in schedule will be posted on March 8th. 1 adult permitted to accompany the wrestler during weigh-ins.

Session I Junior High 74 to 120- Wrestled to completion

Session II Junior High 126 to 249- Wrestled to completion

Schedule, Session & Weigh-In Times will be posted on March 8th. There will be 3 sessions on Saturday and 2 sessions on Sunday. Arena will be cleared of all wrestlers and spectators between each session. If you have wrestlers in multiple sessions, you must purchase tickets for that session.
