SEEDING CRITERIA

DISTRICT SEEDING CRITERIA

For the District Tournament, the criteria below will apply to all wrestlers.

STATE SEEDING CRITERIA

For the State Tournament, the criteria below will only apply to wrestlers who take 1st place at the district tournament. All 8 District Champs will be seeded at State.

Class 1

Wrestlers that finished 1^st-8^th at the previous seasons Junior High State Tournament

-1^st place finisher has criteria over a 2^nd thru 8^th place finisher, 2^nd place has criteria over 3^rd-8^th , etc.

-Computer points to break tie; if tie with computer points the computer randomly picks

Class 2

Wrestlers that finished 1^st-8^th at the previous seasons Junior High District Tournament

-1^st place finisher has criteria over a 2^nd thru 8^th place finisher, 2^nd place has criteria over 3^rd-8^th placer, etc.

- Computer points to break tie; if tie with computer points the computer randomly picks

Class 3

Wrestlers that finished 1st-8th at the previous seasons Grade School State Tournament

-1st place finisher has criteria over a 2^nd thru 8^th place finisher, 2^nd place has criteria over 3^rd-8^th placer, etc.

- Computer points to break tie; if tie with computer points the computer randomly picks

Class 4

Wrestlers with Computer Points

-If tie with computer points the computer randomly picks
