Coaches please read the following proposal for you to have your team enter as a group for 2009. If it is something you may want to do please fill out the form and submit. You are not going to be committed to anything. This is just a way for us to see who may be interested and if there is enough interest for us to implement for 2009.

The OAC is researching the possibility of restructuring the entry fee for teams, clubs or leagues for next year’s Grade School and Jr. High Districts. Please check this over and if your organization would be interested in using this system fill out the form and press the submit button. We feel that this would make the entry fee much more affordable for everyone and make it much easier for those who may not be in a position to afford the entry cost as it is currently structured.

I want to work on this in the spring/summer and have things ready to go for the fall when we open registration

The team entry will work as follows.

Clubs
25-40 members = 18.00 each from ALL members and ALL members can enter the district tournament.
41-75 members = 15.00 each from ALL members and ALL members can enter the district tournament

Teams
12-20 members = 20.00 each from ALL members and ALL members can enter the district tournament
21 members and above = 18.00

Leagues
500-1000 members = 10.00 each from ALL members and ALL members can enter the district tournament

1001 Members and above = 8.00 each from ALL members and ALL members can enter the district tournament

3001 = 5.00 each from ALL members and ALL members can enter the district tournament


The Leagues, Clubs or Teams would have this OAC district fee built into their membership fee for every one of its members. Your organization would forward a money order to the OAC, for the number of members times the appropriate entry rate. A designated person from your organization would receive a code to fill out online entry forms for each of their wrestlers. Each wrestler in the organization that would like to wrestle at a district would have NO additional entry fee however; they would still have to go online to complete their registration for a district by giving their credit card info to hold the spot for them. If they did sign up and not show to wrestle then they would be charged for a full entry above what they paid to their organization at the sign up because it would prevent someone else from competing. The district weight classes would be limited to 32 wrestlers. Once 32 wrestlers have entered in each of the 8 districts the entries for that weight class would be closed. Early entry would be essential or some from your organization would not be able to get into a district. There are 256 possible spots per weight class that can be filled.
